Regulatory Changes in 2019

This year may bring drastic changes to the regulatory field. While the 2015 Clean Water Rule has only been in place since August, just last month the EPA has announced a new proposed 2018 rule that has the potential to drastically change the definition of “waters of the United States” (WOTUS).

As a developer or land owner, this could open possibilities on sites previously considered unbuildable due to wetlands.
